Place a toilet, sink, tub and shower on a plan of your bathroom. Roomveil checks that each one has the space the common US building code asks for, and works out the drain slope for your plumber.
Type the width and the length, wall to wall. A standard bathroom is filled in to start (in feet: a tub, toilet and vanity; in metric: a shower, toilet and sink). Change it to your sizes.
Step 2 · Place your fixtures

Placing fixtures.
Drag a fixture to move it. Tap to select it, tap again to turn it or remove it. The green area in front of each is the space it needs.
Each fixture shows Enough space, or what is wrong.

When something does not fit, it turns red and says why. Here the room was made 4′ 6″ wide, too narrow for a 5 ft tub.
The problem, in plain words.
The minimum spaces Roomveil checks (International Residential Code P2705.1 and R307.1).
Step 3 · Space check
The space check, and the numbers for your plumber: drain slope and the toilet rough-in.
Type the Drain pipe length, from the fixture to the main drain, and Roomveil works out how much the pipe must drop.
Drain pipes must slope down to the main drain (IRC P3005.3).
Step 4 · What you’ll need
The fixtures and the small parts that are easy to forget: wax ring, supply lines, drain kit and caulk.
Check the rough-in before you buy a toilet: most new toilets are made for a drain 12 inches from the wall, some for 10 or 14.
